CAPITAL CAMPAIGN
Dear Friends of St. John Neumann Catholic High School,

To meet the challenge of providing enhanced facilities and learning tools to address the educational, social and spiritual needs of our students, St. John Neumann Catholic High School embarked upon a $10 million dollar Capital Campaign in 2007 called “Building the Dream.” I am pleased to tell you that we have reached over $3.87 million dollars towards our goal. We are grateful for God’s blessings.

Thanks to the generosity of so many of our friends and school families, and to the leadership of our Honorary Campaign Co-Chairmen, Bishop Frank J. Dewane and Jack Donahue, more than $1 million dollars in improvements to our school have already been made through our Capital Campaign. Beginning in December 2009, we will start construction of the new facilities outlined in Phase I of our campaign building plans. These include a new Physical Education and Fitness Training Center, Concession stand, Central Courtyard and School Entry complete with a magnificent Celtic Cross.

We need your help to reach our goal so that we may move forward with our plans for Phase 2, including the construction of a new Chapel and Student Life Center.   • $10 Million Dollar Capital Campaign Underway
  • $3.87 Million Dollars raised—Phase 2 launched- “Reaching the Dream!”
Almost $4 million dollars has been raised in the Capital Campaign thanks to the generous support of St. John Neumann Catholic High School family, friends, faculty and staff. We are so grateful for the support of our donors and of our Honorary Co-Chairmen, Bishop Frank J. Dewane and Jack Donahue. Thanks to their guidance and to the dedication of our Campaign Cabinet we are well on our way to “Reaching the Dream” for St. John Neumann Catholic High School.


FOCUS

The focus of our building program includes the following:

Phase I - underway with more than $1 million dollars in improvements already in place including:
  • New Stadium Lights
  • New Bleachers and Press Box
  • A new 5100 square foot Science Lab with state of the art science equipment
  • New Integrated Technology with laptop computers, classroom projectors and Computer Lab
  • Renovated Gymnasium including a new gym floor and roof
  • New Lockers
  • Updated Campus Security System
New Construction begins in December 2009. Over $4 million dollars in Improvements and New facilities!
  • New Physical Education and Fitness Training Center
  • New Concession Stand
  • New Central Courtyard and School Entry complete with a magnificent Celtic Cross
Phase 2 - When we reach our goal, plans for Phase 2 include:
  • A new Chapel and Campus Ministry Center will provide worship space and an opportunity to visit with our Lord. Onsite pastoral care for students and staff will also be available
  • A new Student Life Center will house an indoor dining area with full kitchen and serving capacity, and a state of the art assembly hall accommodating school events, performing arts, large group meetings, and large group worship. Also included in the Student Life Center will be a new Media and Technology Center with a Computer Lab, Faculty Resource Center and an Audio/Video Studio, bringing current and future students the most up-to-date opportunities in research facilities, media design and development and computer education.

Memorials and Naming Opportunities

The additions to St. John Neumann Catholic High School’s campus will be a living memorial to the people who have served and sacrificed in their support of the school since its founding. Those who help to secure its future in this campaign will provide a legacy for generations of families and friends to come. The legacy of these donors will remain as a visible sign of God’s Grace among us.
